This page is about the Amaspark account, used by every app published by Amaspark (developer: Amaspark). Deleting your account deletes it for all Amaspark apps.

Request deletion

Send an email to privacy@amaspark.com:

  1. from your Amaspark account’s email address (or, if you sign in with Google, from your Google account’s address);
  2. with the subject “Delete my Amaspark account”.

You do not need to reinstall an app or give a reason.

If you write from another address, we will ask you to confirm the request from the account’s address, so that nobody else can delete your account.

Deletion directly from the apps will be offered in Amaspark apps; this page will be updated then.

Timing

  • We acknowledge your request.
  • Your account is deleted within 30 days at most, and we confirm it by email.

What is deleted

  • your email address and hashed password;
  • your account identifier;
  • the information received from Google if you used “Continue with Google”;
  • your sign-in sessions: you are signed out of every Amaspark app at most one hour after the deletion.

On each phone, the app erases its session when it detects that the account no longer exists. You can also uninstall the app.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Technical authentication logs (IP address, type of event, date): erased automatically at most 7 days after they are created.
  • Backups of the authentication service: your account disappears from them at most 7 days after its deletion.
  • The email exchange about your request: kept for 1 year, so that we can show the request was handled.

No other data is kept.

Only remove Google access

If you only want Amaspark to stop accessing your Google account, without deleting your Amaspark account, remove the access from the third-party apps page of your Google Account.
